A large multi-national oil and gas company.

Business Challenge

Our client was looking to streamline their reporting to save time and achieve greater visibility and understanding of their performance against various KPIs.

The existing Excel reports for these KPIs were manually generated from their ERP system on an ad-hoc basis, which was very time-consuming and did not provide a helpful overview of performance.

How Access Analytic Helped

We worked with the client’s management to clarify their reporting requirements and understand the nature of their data.

We used Power BI to connect directly to the client’s ERP system and SharePoint site to extract and manipulate their data. We then designed a range of interactive reports and dashboards that allowed for quick slicing of the data by crew, craft, work order status and date, as well as many other fields.

The reports were published to PowerBI.com and then securely shared across the organisation.
