Business Challenge

Our client required customised training for their in-house financial analysts. They wanted a course that encouraged analysts to think about how to design and construct a financial model from scratch, utilising their newly developed financial modelling standards.

How Access Analytic Helped

After consulting with the client, we designed a customised, five-day training course, using their in-house financial models and modelling standards combined with our training materials.

The course requires participants to apply concepts, rather than just follow a series of steps. Each participant develops their own model from scratch with coaching from our expert facilitators. On the last day, participants also deliver a presentation summarising the results of their analysis.

The course has been running every year for over a decade and the company uses it to train all their oil & gas analysts. It has been so successful that the company recently expanded it to cover analysts in its new energy division as well.
