The Power Pivot Data Model can replicate many of the powerful features of Power BI but is largely left untouched.

What is Excel 365?

Microsoft 365 (previously known and packaged as Office 365) is the way most organisations now subscribe to continuous updates of versions of Excel, Word, and the other “Office” products.

In July 2020 Excel will receive dramatic new capabilities as the Dynamic Array version of Excel rolls out to everyone.

Powerful new functions will then become available including:

  • XLOOKUP
  • FILTER
  • UNIQUE
  • SORT
  • SORTBY
  • RANDARRAY

Old formulas may appear with @ symbol. New functionality will be introduced using the # symbol. This is a major update to Excel

Wyn is an experienced Trainer and Excel / Power BI Developer. Prior to his current role he worked in Business Services and Advisory at WHK Chartered Accountants and Corporate Finance at one of the top European Investment Banks.
